Achieving entry to the Dyson Institute of Engineering and Technology
Background
When I first met this student, they were determined and had a clear idea about where they saw their future career, but lacked self-belief.
Their drive and aptitude for engineering was clear from the outset, they just needed the dedicated support and guidance to help get them onto the right path.
How I helped
Together we explored the entry requirements for the prestigious Dyson Institute.
The Dyson Institute of Engineering and Technology opened in September 2017. Founder James Dyson’s vision is that it will become the best engineering university in the world. It gives undergraduates the opportunity to combine studying for a degree at the University of Warwick with working in Dyson’s global engineering team.
Over several months working together, we successfully navigated the rigorous 7-stage application process.
The result
I was delighted that the student obtained entry into the Dyson Institute, which only accepts around 40 applicants each year.
They are now studying ground-breaking technology, and building a career they feel passionate about.
